Exactly a week ago we announced the return of our highly successful Call of Duty 4 team with a four man lineup consisting of returning players Johan "LINQAN" Lindqvist and Marcus "odyx" Nilsson as well as new blood being found in the shape of Conney "KyoChi" Sjöberg and Kalle "nikokick" Carlden. Now comes the time to finalise the roster, with our 5th player and Sniper today becoming a fnaticMSI player for the second time.
Part of the original Eyeballers lineup to join fnaticMSI one year ago this month, Daniel "Tidde" Asp quickly rose to stardom with impressive Spec Ops displays, eventually earning himself a nomination for the Best Call of Duty Player at the 2008 eSports Awards. In October of last year after returning victorius from Slap Live #16, Danne lost motivation for the game and has since been busy with other activities.
Over Christmas however, Asp quickly noticed how much he missed playing with the team and approached the side in an effort to get gaming again - which as paid dividends as today Daniel rejoins the squad. However this time he will be taking control of the Sniper Rifle which isnt a completely alien role to Daniel as he has once used the Sniper whilst former player mintR was inactive.

fnaticMSI.Tidde: "It's real nice to once again be a part of this great organisation that is Fnatic and to be back to Call of Duty. While I've been gone I've kept myself busy with work and playing a few other games. Now it's time to get back and this time with a sniper in my hands and two new teammates fighting by my side. I'm really looking forward to prove to everyone that this lineup can do the same damage as the old one - even more infact!"
fnaticMSI.Kboy: "I am delighted to announce tidde (Daniel) has re-joined Fnatic as our 5th and final player in a new key role for him as Sniper. As many would acknowledge in the community tidde is a raw talent and I feel really completes the team and cerements us as a force to be recognised with in 2009. Our preparation for all off-line and on-line tournaments has already commenced and the team will be competing in the GotFrag MLG tournament as well as looking at attending the Assembly, I-Series and any other events that are confirmed for Call of Duty 4. I hope you all join me in welcoming tidde back and our complete line-up going forward"

Welcome back Daniel, you've been absent from the CoD scene for a couple of months now, what did you get up to?
Hi Simon! Thank you, its good to be back. I've been caught up in another game, Day of Defeat: Source. I played for Druidz but the game was not the same as I remembered it. When fnaticMSI came and asked me if I wanted to come back to cod4 and play sniper for them my decision was not hard. Otherwise I've been spending alot of my time with my nephew Alwin.
On your return to the fnaticMSI team you're going to be playing Sniper, how will this affect your play style and why did you decide to pick up the sniper rifle?
Yes the sniper shall now be mine, finally! I think this will make my play style slower but still pretty offensive. I have to play slower to do all the peaks before moving up and its obviously pretty hard to rush like I used to with a sniper in your hands, hehe. I've always liked the one-shot-one-kill weapons in every game I've played. Back in the day I played alot of cs and I was always the one to be the main AWP player. I also played sniper for a while in CoD2.

You're a player renown for your excellent SMG play, so if you have an off day you have the ability to pick up a machine gun if necessary, will we see you use this versatility to our advantage?
If the sniper is not working for me I will without doubt switch to another weapon and spray my way through to the bombsites. I see absolutely no point on keep trying something that is just not working. So If I have a bad day you will see the old me trying my best for Fnatic.
Which of the two current CoD4 Mods do you prefer and why?
Even though its to early to really pick a mod I'd have to say that promod is better than damn is right now. The colours are really good, damage on the weapons are stable. The toggle commands is something I like, you can change the FOV even more if you want to and such. I'm sure that the mod will become even better with time and so will Call of Duty 4.

If you were asked to say one thing about each of your teammates what would it be?
LINQAN - The SMG slaughter, one of the best SMG players out there and still getting stronger for every game we play. He stays cool under pressured situations and handles himself more than well in 1onX situations.
Odyx - The most steady player I know. He is a player that never underperforms, he has a habit to always do really well with an assault weapon in his hands. Great teamplayer and always gets the team in a happy mood when we're having a bad day.
KyoChi - The new leader of the team and proves it everyday that passes, he keeps everything in check outside of the game and ingame. Really amazing SMG player with aim sent from up above.
nikokick - Our new aggressive player that mostly pushes up and does it well! He mixes his amazing reflexes up with the assault weapons that together combines to make a real massive fragger.
Any last words or shoutouts for your fans?
I'd like to thank all the fans that are out there holding their thumbs for a Fnatic victory whenever we play. Last of all I have to say it feels great to be back in the glorious Fnatic.
