Hey guys,
here comes my blog for day 2 of the gamescom event. I'm sorry I couldn't post it earlier, but as you might know from my first blog my notebook is broken. During the day, I'm using Spart1e's notebook, but obviously he needs it as well sometimes. So we started the day with some breakfast. Kevin had chocolate cornflakes without milk once again ("Because it's better without"), I can't remember I have seen this before and I don't think I will in the future. Anyway, after this we headed to the event together with noctis and d1ablo, an old school and now retired Quake player.
Arthur was already waiting for us in Hall 9, where the Extreme Masters Area is situated. If you wonder who this is, he is the guy who edited all of the gamescom videos you can find on Fnatic.com and the creator of the strenx 1v1 fragmovie. Super nice guy, and although he doesn't speak English well, we still manage to communicate. And if we can't, we simply ask Kevin to translate for us as both Kevin and Arthur are from France.

Speaking of Kevin, he had his Groupstage yesterday and managed to go through with a clean sheat. He feels confident in his abilities, and it looks like he can do very well at this event. He will be playing k1llsen in the Quarter Finals today and hopefully advance to the Semi-Finals. We were afraid that Kevin would have to play against Sebastian, but luckily Sebastian is in the other side of the bracket. That rapha and Cooler are also in his side is not so lucky though.
As it seemed like people enjoyed the player interviews player thing, we did another one. This time the other way round though with Sebastian interviewing Kevin after his Groupstage. I didn't have time to have lunch as the Starcraft matches were already around the corner, so we headed back in the venue after this. Arthur went to get some food for Kevin and me though and even invited us.

Pedro aka LucifroN unfortunately did not manage to get through the Groupstage, but he played well against Hasuobs in his last match and I guess he will do well in the future. Pedro seems to be a calm person and is also a calm player with the right attitude, I'm sure it was the right decision to add him to our Starcraft roster. We did a video interview after his matches, where he talked about the defeats and explains why he chose to sign with FnaticMSI.
SeƱor Moreno Duran said he would come to watch Kevin play today, as he apparently likes Quake. Probably the first RTS player who says something like that about an FPS! We will all get together for dinner sometime, probably today or tomorrow. Chris aka GeT_RiGhT will be arriving today for the European Nations Cup, so we will have FnaticMSI players from three different games on sight and go out together sometime this weekend.
I can't really remember more of yesterday, so that's it for now. Make sure to cheer for Kevin, who has his Quarter Final today. And of course check back to Fnatic.com for the interview with Pedro and more upcoming content about the Extreme Masters and European Nations Cup event.
