Hey all

I think this will be the last blog before I travel to Ukraine with the girls on friday. Listening to the others that just came back and nixon (HLTV guy) whos still there, I can't wait to finally go. Kiev seems like a great city, both their culture and their nightlife, so I think we will have a blast over there.

The week has been pretty slow as I study next to working part time as a consultant. I study a little something called e-Concept development, it is basicly marketing, design and communication. This project we just started on monday, is about a company making accessories for cycling, and we have to produce a prototype of how we think their website should be. So I have to work a little harder this week as I will be gone for 2 study days.

As I mentioned in my last blog, I really wanted to fix up my bike as I love fixies. So monday when I was on my way to  a lecture, I had to stop for a red light. My break and rear gears snapped and I pretty crashed to the pavement, but I didn't really get hurt.

So I thought it was time to get it sorted and I used 2 nights to get the parts and work on it. I wanted to fix the rear gear to a fixed nav, and that pretty much means a single level of gearing. The trend these days are dirty fixies, not clean trackbikes like in races, so my bike fits perfectly into that category. Last thing to do was to get rid of anything not needed, like mudflaps, front brake, etc etc. Well you can see the result below.

Next time I will be writing is from Kiev, enjoy!
