This weekend was mad hectic.. I'm in training for the UKChallenger www.ukchallenger.com which is happening in about 3 weeks. Its a 4 day team competition which is a combinaiton of Cycling, Running, Kayaking, Building and orienteering. Basically you get given stage notes about 30 min before the begining of the stage then you will be given 2 hours to complete a set of goals all around a map, through running/cycling/kayaking to these checkpoints and then back.. You also can get Bonus points by heading to bonus parts which might be really hard to get to. Theres a huge amount of strategy involved since you really need to learn to conserve your energy.

This weekend we had a dry run of what we will be doing in 3 weeks time and did 4 stages, it started on saturday with a 4 hour kayak and cycling stage, this was then followed up by a night stage at 8 untill 10 which was a run stage. On sunday we did a build stage which was building a mechanism to get 10 litres of water out of a well with only the equipment provivided and being at least 2 meters away from the well. The final stage was a 2.5 hour run stage which was completely shattering.. I'm now physically and mentally exhausted!! It all took place in the Peak district with tons of hills etc.. My body is in shut down mode now hahha

Anyway i've never been this fit in my life though so its really great, makes you feel awesome!
