The Big Apple hosts IEM Global Challenge

October is turning into a busy month for eSports and IEM, with New York hosting their leg only one week after their Chinese counter parts in Guangzhou have finished up for this season. 

Just like the Chinese tournament there is once again a massive total prize pool of $93,000, split between three games at the top of the eSports competitive scenes. Firstly we have StarCraft II with $21,000, League of Legends has a $30,000 prize pool and last but not least Counter Strike 1.6 has an amazing $40,000 prize pool.
