One Spaniard Isn't Enough

There are a lot of question marks surrounding Fnatic and a full-time coach. Many of you have been asking when we would pick up a coach since last year. It took a long time to find the perfect fit for our team but we definitely feel we have that missing piece now!
Join us in welcoming Araneae as the coach of Fnatic League of Legends! Araneae and the Fnatic guys have a long history together. From playing in solo queue to competing against him in the LCS. Not only do the players have respect for Araneae on the Rift, but they also respect him outside of the game. His knowledge of the game and experience competing at a high level is only scratching the surface of what he offers us as a coach.
Fnatic is fully committed to League of Legends and the current Fnatic roster! We have our eyes set on our 4th LCS title and the boys are looking to cement themselves in League of Legends history with the 2014 LCS Summer Split. Below you can hear from Araneae himself as well as Cyanide and Patrik "cArn" Sättermon our Chief Gaming Officer.
Welcome to the family Araneae!

Alvar "Araneae" Martin Aleñar, Fnatic League of Legends Coach:
For me it's just a pleasure to start working with this team and especially with this group of guys. They've been my friends for such a long time, and now, I'll be working with them. It's gonna be great for me!
I'm here to improve the team's performance and to try and motivate them as much as I can.
I would like to thanks the effort that Fnatic made to bring me here, as well as the Fnatic team for their love so far they showed me.
Lauri "Cyanide" Happonen, Fnatic League of Legends Jungler:
I believe that to stay competitive in League of Legends with only a solid lineup of 5 players is not enough anymore. It is limited how much a crew of 5 can do, so we decided to get a coach to help us correct our mistakes, help with our picks and reevaluate our game plan.
After considering a few options we ended up taking Araneae as he was always a very intelligent player and is super motivated. I am really happy with our choice and believe he will help us improve a lot as a team and I feel he will be able to help me a lot as he is a former pro Jungler.
Patrik "cArn" Sättermon, Fnatic Chief Gaming Officer:
I'm really excited to welcome Alvar "Araneae" Martin Aleñar to the Fnatic family, and I'm very confident that with his help our already kick-ass League of Legends team will reach new heights and successes.
The never-ending increase of competition in eSports requires teams like us to improve the way we manage and coach our teams. We do appreciate that the community has wanted to see a full-time coach in Fnatic for quite a while, but I would like to clarify that we are only now comfortable to take this step, as we want to ensure that we have a perfect candidate for the job, something our organisation, and more importantly our players are certain about with the addition of Araneae.
Araneae will join our team with immediate effect and he will together with our player and management work around the clock to optimize Fnatic’s chances to make it even deeper into World Finals!
