Issue:SteelSeries Sensei(new) settings?
Hi there!
What I've bought:
I've the new Steelseries Sensei mouse,
and I am really glad for it, but it seems like I've an issue
because of the fact, that the movement of my mouse is not the same as my old one, even how much I try to predict the settings of my new mouse, it won't get even close to my old mouse(Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse).
The Issue:
The thing is, whenever I am playing a game where you actually can sense the motion of your sensitivity of your mouse I get these weird "lifts" on my aim. It's like something is pushing my aim up every time I aim around, my aim slowly goes up(really slow), and when that happens it seems like it's hard aiming downwards. Let's say in a situation like in Counter-Strike 1.6 ;( I'm aiming on a person above me on a train, which I've just killed, and suddenly someone jumps towards me from the sideway "under the train", whenever i try to aim on that person/player it seems like its harder to aim down on him). Briefed said:It's basically harder for me to aim downwards than upwards (in some cases) and it happens most of the time, not all the time!
Things that I've tried:
*Re-installing SteelSeries Driver for the mouse(SteelSeries Engine)
*Re-plugging my mouse
*Try putting all the weird settings on, and then switch profile to my "real one" where everything is equalized to zero.
*Playing with the Polling Rate(hertz) from 125-250-500-100, none of those made difference for the exact issue that I HAVE.
*As you can see on the picture that's added above, I do NOT have any of those settings ON for them to trigger anything.
*When I plug in my old mouse, everything is all fine - Nothing is weird.
*My mouse(both) does not move by it-self at anytime..
The thing is, the first day I bought my SteelSeries Sensei I had to fix all these options to zero, when I did that, it seemed to work just fine until the next day - Suddenly this weird issue came with lifting the aim slowly.
If anyone has the same issue please let me know!

Check your mousepad, it's possible that there is dirt on it that prevents the mouse from functioning properly
Hehe my friend, that's is one of the few things that I probably should've mentioned.
There's no dust on my mousepad. There's no such thing as ANY hair in my mice-laser-cube.
For all those who thinks that. There's no DUST either in it. The conclusion remains on the Sofware or that the mouse is broken.
And which mouse pad are you using? Forget all those QcKs, Goliathus', yeah, even Talents....... and get an Artisan Hien or Hayate pad. Had a "dynamic dpi" issue with my Xai on all my cloth pads. Since I use the Artisan Kai.g3 Hien SOFT pad, there's no more problem with the Xai.
yet the problem remains.
I've tried between Zowie Mousepad, Steelseries(steel version) & Icemat. None of these made a difference, in fact the steelseries(steel version) was even worst than the one with cloth as it worked best on my ZowieMousepad "cloth" version.
I hope anyone has another conclusion to this matter.
Mousepad omo
That's the same issue I had, BUT, I had Ikari Laser. I received a replacement but they sent me the Optical version. Strangely, the optical version didn't have the problem as the Laser version had. Until I started to use IntelliExplorer, the mouse had no skip issues like you explained.
My suggestion is to get an replacement and see if the problem still persists.
what kind of replacement?
I don't get what I should replace ^^?
The mouse.
Oh, I meant your Sensei mouse. Call SteelSeries to return your mouse and get a new Sensei. See if the new Sensei has the same problem.
maybe ur playing with acceliration and when it goes off then its slow? maybe :)
