FnaticMSI can announce that its Counter-Strike 1.6 team has been shortlisted to participate at the e-Stars Seoul 2009 tournament running later this year.

e-Stars has released a list for both WarCraft III and Counter-Strike 1.6 of candidates who are eligible to play at this years edition of South Korea's popular e-Stars tournament.

The tournament, which will run from 24-27th July 2009 in the 1st hall of SETEC in Seoul, South Korea, will feature the best players and teams from the East as well as the West.

To determine the final 6 players and teams for WC3 and CS1.6, respectively, e-Stars will again host another controversial global fan vote which will make up for 50% of their participants. You will be able to vote on the official homepage from the 20th of this month till the 17th of May.

WC3 and CS1.6 players and teams will compete in the unique "King of the Game" system which will "select the best gamer of each game and give more entertaining factors."

The final selection of players and teams is going to be decided after the reflection of 50% of fan vote, 30% of world competition records during 2008 and 2009 and 20% of evaluation from organisation committee for continental cups. This will then be announced on 2nd June 2009.
