Today, SteelSeries, the leading manufacturer of gaming peripherals and accessories has introduced the SteelSeries NP+ Mousepad during the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The NP+ Mousepad is targeted specifically at gamers, designed with 'Pressure Compressed Fibers' resulting in a rough glide surface.
Statement from Bruce Hawver, SteelSeries CEO;
""We work with a number of professional gamers that have a wide assortment of preferences when it comes to the surface they're playing on or the level of glide and friction they prefer. The SteelSeries NP+ was designed for those that prefer a rough glide and large area surface. The water and stain resistant material makes this surface, our most unique textile mousepad."
The mousepad's pressure compressed fibers allow for extreme durability making it water and most-stain resistant.
The SteelSeries NP+ is also unlike any other surface that SteelSeries currently has to offer with it being able to effectively operate with laser or optical mice and it also offers a high level of surace-to-mouse friction with its rough glide surface and a firm non-slip rubber base to stop the mousepad slipping on any surface
SteelSeries NP+ Highlights;
- XXL-sized cloth mouse pad
- Compressed fibers adding stain and water resistance.
- Dimensions; 450 x 400 x 4 mm / 17.7 x 15.7 x 0.16 in
The SteelSeries NP+ will be available at leading online retailers with an MSRP of EUR 24,99 beginning in March 2010.
