In two weeks, PLAY opens its doors to ladies!

That's right! For the first time since the creation of Fnatic PLAY we shall be hosting a Female Counter-Strike 1.6 Tournament powered by MSI and Steelseries.

The tournament will be a Single Elimination Bracket with a maximum of twelve teams participating. The tournament will commence at 14:00CET on the 21st of March team captains at least are expected to be available in the #fnatic.play IRC channel. Four teams will be seeded, meaning that they will receive a default win in the first round while the other eight unseeded teams will fight for a place in the Quarter-Finals.

Time Schedule (Estimated):

  • 14:00 CET – 15:30 CET: 1st round, 8 teams, best of 3 mode 
  • 15:30 CET – 17:30 CET: 2nd round, 8 teams, best of 3 mode. 
  • 17:30 CET – 19:30 CET: 3rd round, 4 teams, best of 3 mode 
  • 20:00 CET – 21:30 CET: Grand Finals and 3rd place decider, best of 3 mode

 

Prizes:

A big thankyou to SteelSeries for providing the prizes for the top three teams, the prize distribution will be as follows:

  • 1st Place: $500
  • 2nd Place: 5x SteelSeries iron.lady Siberia Full-size Headset
  • 3rd Place: 5x Steelseries Kinzu + 5x Steelseries iron.lady QcK mousemats (pink or white)

 

As well as these brilliant prizes for the top three teams, we have one special prize thanks to our sponsor, MSI. The prize will be an MSI Wind U160 laptop for the MVP of the tournament. The most valuable player will be the player who has played the best throughout the whole of the tournament and stood out above the rest, this will be decided at the end of the tournament by the FnaticPLAY staff.
