Even our Swedes can sometimes use a break from Counter-Strike and tomorrow will be an excellent opportunity, when three of our FnaticMSI.CS players will face Swedish based community, Rakaka, in a live streamed Starcraft II match.

UPDATE: Games can be followed at Fnatic TV!

Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg, Patrik 'cArn' Sattermon and Bjorn 'threat' Pers will therefore have a new challenge to face tomorrow evening, at 19:00 CET, when they will clash, in a best out of five format, with co-nationals from Rakaka. The interesting part is that you will be able to follow our players live for the first time, as they try their luck in the midst of the newly released Starcraft II Beta.

The entire match will be streamed via our website as well as Rakaka's, with Slop3 providing English commentary throughout. The entire clash set-up will evolve as follows:

  • Match #1 cArn vs. Vilda 1 - 0
  • Match #2 Threat vs. Breaker 0 - 1
  • Match #3 threat/f0rest vs. Nicke/Lalush 0 - 1
  • Match #4 f0rest vs. Genie 0 - 1
  • Match #5 cArn/threat vs. Vilda/Breaker 0 - 1

Patrik 'cArn' Sattermon stated the following about the upcoming challenge:

"The Starcraft 2 beta is here and what's better than celebrating that with a FnaticMSI vs. Rakaka shoot-out to determine if the progamers are more prone to pick up a new game or if the awesome writers from Rakaka will prove themselves worthy against the FnaticMSI progamers. You won´t see any hardcore micro but I do think the matches will be very exciting and me, f0rest and threat have worked out some tactics which will be revealed tomorrow at 7pm CET. May the best team win!"

As previously mentioned, the match is scheduled for tomorrow evening at 19:00 CET, so stay tuned as we'll bring our the stream details tomorrow for you guys to watch the entire thing.
