Today, FnaticMSI's Counter-Strike team parts ways with Bjorn 'threat' Pers.

It was with huge expectation when we added Bjorn to the roster to replace Gux just before the 2010 year began, but the venture together has now come to an end.  The team with threat, managed to win the World eSports Masters 2009 as well as the Arabalet cup europe while placing  second at both the ESL Extreme Masters European and World Finals, a great feat by all standards and the continuation of the FnaticMSI tradition.

But the recent results were'nt good enough when you play under the FnaticMSI banner, thus changes were in order. It is therefore with sadness that we release one of the world's most talented players in Bjorn 'threat' Pers.

He's been an exemplary player in the team, always behaving professional and being 100% committed. Unfortunately counterstrike is a business and the team demanded a change. Bjorn did not fit in as much as we had hoped, but once again he is a player who's qualities should bring a lot to the table to any team.

Harley 'dsn' Orwall gave this statement regarding Bjorn's release:

"Today we are parting ways with Bjorn 'threat' Pers. Our results lately have been a bit questionable and our play in-game hasn't been what it once was. We felt we needed a change to keep the team strong, fresh and motivated for the upcoming tournaments. We would like to wish Bjorn the best of luck and thank him for his time as a friend, teammate and player in FnaticMSI."

This leaves us with a gap to fill and the FnaticMSI team will be making its decisions soon. Stay tuned to FNATIC.com and you will be hear first when the situation changes
