After two days of group stages and play-off matches we have now reached the Grand Finals.

Counter-Strike 1.6

The tournament started slow, due to technical issues, but still turned out to be an amazing event. In Group A we saw WeMadeFox coming just a little bit short, to reach the play-offs. Instead of WMF we saw Lions and Evil Geniuses advance into the play-offs.

Group B was a little less close as we saw Tyloo and FnaticMSI moving on into the play-off stage. The match that made the difference in this group was between the two qualifiers, as Tyloo beat FnaticMSI and topped the group.

In the Semi Finals from the play-offs we saw an 'easy' match for FnaticMSI as they needed two maps (08-16 & 10-16) to beat Lions. The other semi finals, between Tyloo and Evil Geniuses was a lot closer, as three maps needed to be played. All maps turned out to be a close call, but Evil Geniuses eventually took the spot in the Grand Final.

WarCraft III

In the WarCraft III Grand Final we see two big names. First of all the Korean star player Moon, who had to take the long way to the Grand Final as he lost in the upper bracket against the other finalist Th000. Time will tell if the Chinese player will be able to beat Moon once again, or maybe Moon got into his game and take revenge?
