Today we announce that MagicFingers will be departing from our League of Legends squad.

Max "MagicFingers" Dreysse will be leaving our League of Legends team to further his own career. He has served the team well over the past 6 months, as the teams sixth he was often called upon to play in online tournaments to help fill in when someone was not available. Due to being such a versatile player he was able to play virtually whatever role the team needed him to. He was not only the sixth player but also helping out with tactics, overlooking the teams play and giving his opinion on every team debate.

He had some fantastic times with the team, including a sponsored trip to Taiwan with Fnatic's head sponsor Raidcall. The experience he has gained whilst in FnaticRaidCall will ensure he finds a stable and motivated team to work alongside.

Our League of Legends manager, Harry Wiggett had the following to say about MagicFinger's departure:

Max has been a very vital part of the team from start to finish and his future team-mates will notice how lucky they are to have him around. Max is a very talented player, but never found his feet as a core member, there was simply never the room. I fully understand his decision on leaving the team, I think any player who wanted to succeed would do the same, he was being held back from competing. Max became a good friend of mine whilst in Taiwan and we, together with the rest of the team, shared some fantastic times which will never be forgotten. I am very certain he will go far with his new team and I wish him the best of luck in this. I am sure we will meet again at LAN events.

MagicFinger's gave this statement about his time in FnaticRaidCall:

Leaving a team as awesome as this one was obviously one hell of a tough decision. After all the fun time which I spent with those amazing and inspiring people i feel like I developped and learned a lot, both as a player but also as a person. I am very grateful for every minute I was allowed to play for the great organization Fnatic, for every minute i chatted with my stunning teammates, for every well coordinated purposefeed we executed.
But as it is with most things, this era of my life has come to an end. Not because I didnt enjoy it, gaming was never as much fun as it was with this team. It's just that the role of a backupplayer no longer satisfied me. At a certain point I realized that the time for me to move on had come. I am now looking for a fresh new team to play in as a mainplayer, a status that I would have never been able to achieve in a team where the teamplay is developped as far as it is the case in Fnatic. I'd also like to thank my fans for all the support this far, I hope I'll be able to make you proud once again.

I am thankful for all the support and respect which I received from both my mates and also a big shoutout for my dear manager hxd!

A video interview by Shaun "FourCourtJester" Delaney and Jackie "Yakkie" Yipp with MagicFingers himself has been conducted. In the interview you can find out Max's favourite moments in FnaticRaidCall.LoL and plenty more:
