Lee Seok "aLive" Han has made it through the second groupstage in GSL Code S.

Earlier this day we announced that Lee Seok "aLive" Han would be joining the ranks of FnaticRaidCall. Only a few hours later he made his first appearance in 2nd Group Stage of GSL Code S.

Being put in Group A, aLive definitely had to play in one of the hardest groups. First up for our fresh player was Lee "Curious" Won Pyo. Before the match the StarTale player was listed as one of the player's who could unexpectedly go far in GSL. But things went a completely different way for the Zerg.

On Bel Shir Beach, one of the newer maps in the mappool, aLive ran over his opponent in a dominating fashion, giving himself the 1:0 map advance. Next up was Crossfire and things didn't change. Once again aLive seemed to be one level ahead of Curious and played down his playstyle which secured him the first win in the second groupstage of GSL.

The next opponent to beat was Koh "GuMiho" Byung Jae, who suprisingly beat three times GSL Champion and runner-up of last season Jung "Mvp" Jong Hyun in a thrilling match.

But once again aLive showed an awesome perfomance in the black and orange. In the first game on Cloud Kingdom aLive gave GuMiho a taste of his outstanding mech skills and made the score 1:0 in his favour. At this time aLive was only one map away from advancing into the next round and that is what he did. On Entombed Valley GuMiho had no chance to win and hence aLive advanced to the next round. GuMiho later then played a second match against Mvp which he won again to advance to the next round.

aLive will be playing the runner-up of group B in the Round-of-8, who will most likely be MMA or SuperNova.
