NightEnD has taken first place in the HTW Cup 4!

FnaticRaidCall.NightEnD, our Romanian Protoss player, has once again proven that he deserves to be listed in the top tier of foreign players by winning the Hear To Win Cup 4 in decisive fashion. The online European tournament featured top names like ClouD, Strelok, Adelscott, LoWeLy, DIMAGA, Feast, and Delphi, but no one could stop NightEnD from dominating the tournament, seizing first out of a field of over 150 players. Today was a reminder of why Europe should be afraid....

This tournament allowed NightEnD to show off his skills in all three match ups, beating strong terran, protoss, and zerg enemies up and down the brackets. His path to the gold included beating 3 terran opponents, victories in PvP over RaNgeD (1-0, round of 32) and Underdark (2-1, semifinals), and devastating wins over zerg players DIMAGA (2-0, round of 8) and Delphi (3-1, finals).

His trademark blink stalker micro was stellar and on display, in top form against the attempted mutalisk harassment from zerg. NightEnD also did a remarkable job of fending off drops against terran, splitting his army well to deal with multiple threats and spending warp-ins wisely. Some of the most impressive games came in the semifinals against Underdark, an exciting PvP series. Over the course of three games, NightEnD made use of his superior multitasking skills to micro stalkers in the front and repeated warp prism attacks back in his opponent's main, proving that inventive builds and good micro can beat the four gate and demonstrate interesting tactics.

NightEnD was able to give some remarks on the tournament:

Were you confident about your chances going in, or was today's result a little surprising for you?

"Well since I joined the cup, I wanted to win it. So I did."

What was your hardest match?

"Well, I think dimaga might have been the hardest one. But I beat him 2-0, compared with 2-1 vs underdark (pvp) and 3-1 vs delphi. All 3 were really hard."

Was there anyone in particular that you were looking forward to meeting in the brackets?

"Yea, dimaga for sure. I love playing vs him."

"I wanna thank all my fans! I have huge respect for them."
