Evil Geniuses have won the ESEA-Invite Season 5 LAN Finals, facing no real problems throughout the tournament.

North America's best Counter-Strike teams came together for the LAN Finals, what could be seen as North America's biggest tournament for some time, offering 13,000$.

Top favourite Evil Geniuses did not disappoint as they walked through the bracket without dropping a single map, beating compLexity and Team Excello to get to the grand final. In this grand final the Evil Geniuses once again met Team Excello and not the other top favourite, compLexity, who disappointed at this event, only coming fourth.

The grand final proved to be fairly one sided, as EG won train with 16-10 and dust2 with 16-8. This crowned them as the ESEA-Invite champions and earned them 6,000$.
