We officially crowned five new queens in our most recent PLAY tournament and now its time to have a look at what the statistics tell us related to all of yesterday's matches.
Thanks to our lovely colleagues over at HLTV.org, we now have a round-up of statistics which can help us describe both the tournament in numbers and choosing our MVP more carefully. The overview seems to place zAAz of Pink Zinic as the top player, AK47 as the most used weapon (40% of kills) and tournament drop-outs, ASUS Ladies, as the top team.
Going more in-depth, in terms of individual player statistics, as previously mentioned, zAAz topped it, putting herself in a favourite position for the MVP title of the tournament. She signed, sealed and delivered at the end of the final, a whopping +94 K/D difference, with a rating of 1.6. The closest candidate to her was team colleague, iReNuKa, who scored an equally prideful +66 K/D difference, with an overall rating of 1.29. Lastly, on third place, we have Meg of Mousesports, who's not too far apart either with a +45 K/D difference. The rest of the individual players statistics can be found simply by clicking here.
In terms of teams, there's nothing much to say, as obviously enough the results don't necessarily reflect the longevity of the performance. Therefore, topping the team statistics are ASUS Ladies, who after the first Round 32 dispute dropped out. Regardless, after winning their first and only match with 16-0, they find themselves on top of this particular placement with a +33 K/D difference. Closely following are tournament winners Pink Zinic, with a whopping +182 K/D difference, yet placed second due to their lower 1.2 overall rating (1.3 was the one of ASUS Ladies). Third spot was taken by our other finalist, Mousesports, with +144 K/D difference, which gave them a slightly lower rating than rivals Pink Zinic: 1.14. The rest of the team statistics can be found simply by clicking somewhere around here.
Additionally, the pistol rounds overview saw both ASUS Ladies and maniaX Girls (both teams with only one match played in the tournament) score a 100% winning ratio, meaning that they bagged both pistol rounds of their respective matches. Rather more interesting was the fact that Pink Zinic placed third (with a 72% winning ratio), with Mousesports nowhere in sight.
One more thing remains, naming the MVP, which is... going to come soon enough. Stay tuned for updates and we hope both participants and spectators enjoyed our PLAY Female CS 1.6 tournament.

It was a cool idea and it turned out even better! =] I really enjoyed watching the matches and was surprised how far female gaming went since the last time I was paying any attention.. I remember being disappointed watching the ladies before. It felt to me like it was just about which girls are willing to go for it, not which are actually good at the game. Not this time =] And 32 teams, that's just amazing. Good job Fnatic and congrats to the top 3!
