Former StarCraft: Brood War player Jacob 'NTT' Scharn returns to professional gaming.

Scharn is known for his time back in the days of Starcraft: Brood War. His biggest achievement was finishing 3rd on the World Cyber Games 2000, which is an achievement on its own as the event is normally a podium full of Asian players. After the WCG Scharn decided to quit playing professionally as there was no professional scene for StarCraft outside Korea, and the player did not want to move to Korea.

After a few years of inactivity the Dutchmen is now back, and already showed what he is capable of. Scharn is already in the top 10 of the European server. Serious Gaming followed the player during his plays, and got him integrated into the StarCraft II team. As soon as both parties were satisfied, Scharn became the newest addition to the Serious Gaming SCII roster.

Serious Gaming sees Scharn as one of the more experienced players in their SCII lineup. The organisation works by a philosophy of trying to convert young and eager players into champion players, and believes that Scharn is still very eager to play and perform, ten years after his peak. The organisation hopes that Scharn can fulfil a teaching and inspiration role for the other players.
