After three Global Challenges of the sixth IEM season had been announced already, today the fourth stop has been made public: Sao Paulo. The Brazilian city will host a $21,000 SC2 competition.

Recently several Global Challenges for the sixth season of the Intel Extreme Masters were announced, with the Global Challenges in Guangzhou and New York taking place in October 2011. After a small winter break, IEM play with continue with the Global Challenge Sao Paulo. 

The Sao Paulo Challenge will take place at the Campus Party, recognized as the biggest electronic entertainment event on-line in the world. The event will take place between February 6th and 12th. Unlike the other three Global Challenges, only 1 game will be featured: StarCraft II. The prize money will be the same as the others.

What remains now is the announcement of the host city for the fifth and final Global Challenge for this IEM season, which will take place in Europe somewhere in 2012. Later on ESL will also announce the location of the IEM World Championship, where as always the season will finalize.
