We’re incredibly excited to welcome two new faces… well, one new, one that many fans will most definitely remember ;)
First up is the most promising Mid player in South East Asia! Join us in welcoming Abed!
Abed Azel L. Yusop is among the most exciting players in South East Asia and the first person ever to reach 10,000 solo MMR. Already a Major veteran, the young Filipino has already seen his share of success with stints at Execration, Onyx and Digital Chaos under his belt.
The move in turn sees Steve ‘Xcalibur’ Ye move to the sub position from the active roster. We want to thank him for all the effort Xcaibur’s afforded us so far and hope he can continue his contribution.
“Despite my short stay in Fnatic’s active roster my experience in the team has been invaluable. I have learned so much from my teammates during our replay sessions. I will definitely try to find a new team to play with again and I want to thank everyone in Fnatic for the experience.” - Steve ‘Xcalibur’ Ye
We’re so pleased as well to be welcoming back Adam ‘Adam’ Shah! A legend of Fnatic’s TI6 run, the former Support player joins the roster as our new coach. With his experience, pedigree and all-round knowledge, we’re delighted that he has made the decision to return.
Formerly 343, Adam makes his return to Fnatic!
“Hyped to be part of FNATIC again. There's a long road ahead of us and I'm looking forward to the ride!” - Adam ‘Adam’ Shah
With that in mind, we say goodbye to Ahmad ‘ADTR’ Syazwan. He has worked tirelessly to bring the roster forward and for that we are grateful.
These are both great steps forward in the structure of the team and we can’t wait to see the results.
