Fnatic LoL | Welcome Hylissang!

Ready for the full 2018 League of Legends roster? We gotchu.

Going into the Spring Split, we wanted to give room in our roster to grow further. That’s why, after an undoubtedly successful year, we’re going to be retaining four familiar FNATICs.

Along with Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, who has signed a three-year agreement, Paul “sOAZ” Boyer, Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen and Rasmus “Caps” Winther all return!

The final piece of the puzzle for the coming season will be none other than Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov, long-time Unicorn and EU LCS stalwart.

Widely respected throughout the Western scene, the Bulgarian is renowned for mixing excellent shotcalling with a vibrant champion pool. The complete Support, Hyli brings a wealth of experience and reliability.

‘I’ve always been fan of Fnatic and of course Rekkles and this year I got the opportunity to play with both! I’m looking forward to see how good we’ll match and how we translate it to the stage.

I'm also super excited to play with Caps and the other Fnatic players, I think we have similar mindset and if we are on the same page I don't think anyone can hold us!’ - Zdravets ‘Hylissang’ Galabov (Support)

That also means that in turn, Jesse “Jesiz” Le steps down from the starting roster into a substitute role. A model professional, Jesse will continue to contribute to the side as much as possible while his long term future is being resolved.

‘Fnatic was a good experience for me, but in order to take the next steps in my development as a player/person, a change of environment is what's necessary.

I want to thank Fnatic for a great year, and I wish them the best of luck for 2018.’ - Jesse ‘Jesiz’ Le

All European Roster

The last season wasn’t one to forget too quickly. A blend of steadfast veteranship and explosive rookie talent made for some amazing highs - as well as some moments of the tilting variety. ;)

What we’d hoped for - and what we ultimately found success in - was the common culture in our team. We’d set out with a fully European roster and finished the year among the very best Western sides, at the same time mounting one of the game’s greatest comeback performances at this year’s World Championship.

That philosophy remains the same going into 2018 and beyond.

New Look Botlane

Exciting times lay ahead! Our new look botlane travel to Korea together this week, knuckling down already ahead of the new season. We can’t wait to see how they synergise, with hopes of the two becoming one of the most feared botlanes globally.

As the pair begin their preparations at their bootcamp, Rekkles and Hylissang will be bringing you the preseason action live on stream! Keep an eye out on our social channels for those…
