FNATIC SFV | We Lock In Our 2018 Roster!

Fnatic is back and fighting!

As part of our entry into Gfinity Elite Series, we announce our return to the fighting game community with our Street Fighter V roster!

Born and raised in London, Shakil ‘Shakz’ Ghazi is a stalwart of the UK Street Fighter V scene. The 20-year old - just converted from Laura to Nash - previously played for Team Infused in the previous Gfinity Elite Series season.

Hailing from Paris, we have Christ ‘Akainu’ Onema coming in to show off his Guile. The 22-year old had played for Prophecy during the last season of Gfinity Elite Series.

Rounding out our starting roster is 24-year old, Evan ‘Brick’ Slabic. The Zangief specialist arrives from Stockholm.

“The FGC has one of the most fanatical and intense fan bases in esports. That made our decision to make the return to the community much when we signed this roster of Shakz, Akainu and Brick.

“It’s a very exciting time as our players fight on two fronts - not only in Gfinity but all the Capcom Cup events throughout the year.” - Colin Johnson, Street Fighter V Manager

The roster will be kicking off on 9th March in Gfinity Elite Series Season 3. You can head down to see them in action at the Gfinity Arena each Saturday evening in Fulham Broadway.

The players will also be fighting under the Fnatic banner in the Capcom Cup events throughout the 2018 season.
