We today announce an exclusive streaming partnership with Twitch, the leading service and community for multiplayer entertainment. Twitch have become a giant of esports and live streaming, and now we are excited to join forces to develop new forms of creative live content that can be delivered to fans in a new and innovative way.

One part of the long-term collaboration will see our pro players, across all of its titles, now stream exclusively through Twitch. This means you will have the opportunity to interact more closely with your favourite players and look forward to live shows, exclusive product drops and giveaways.

The first streamed event as part of the new collaboration took place earlier this month. Hosted from Berlin, Legends in Action Live engaged thousands of Fnatic fans across the globe. During the stream, we introduced our new prokit jersey for 2019 and we also introduced a new year of League of Legends through two-hours of player interviews, Q&As and exclusive previews ahead of the new League of Legends European Championship season.

“Undeniably, Twitch remains the best platform for fans and players when it comes to gameplay, and it is where most of our fans are engaging with this content already. What makes this partnership special is that we believe Fnatic and Twitch share the vision of bringing esports into every household through new forms of content that deliver an incredible viewing experience.

Partnering with Twitch offers us an exciting opportunity to continue exploring new content formats such as Legends in Action Live, as well as enabling our fans to experience more of what we have to offer. This is the start of a new and exciting partnership for our fans and streamers alike.” - Wouter Sleijffers, Fnatic CEO

"We’re super excited to partner with Twitch and leverage on the great innovations Twitch have been adding over the years to make the experience between players and their audience even more engaging. This is a great opportunity for us and our fans to connect and interact on new levels. We can’t wait to bring out new ideas and experiment with the platform to create future entertainment experiences.” - Benoit Pagotto, Fnatic Brand Director

"Fnatic are a legendary esports team with a strong following among the Twitch community, making this exclusive partnership a great fit for our service. As the premier destination for esports with a focus on both the streamer and spectator experience, we plan to work closely with Fnatic to foster even more engagement around their exciting content." - Petya Zheleva, Esports Partnerships Manager, EMEA, Twitch
