From the moment Paul ‘sOAZ’ Boyer leaked his arrival to the Worlds final two years later, Rasmus ‘Caps’ Winther has come to define what it is to be Fnatic.
In the midlane, only two preceded him full time. xPeke, Febiven, Caps is now a natural progression, but it was his endless belief in his own ability and his own potential that made Fnatic able to continue in creating world superstars.
For those who know him, too, all that Caps has ever sought is the possibility of what he can be - of what his team can be. This is the essence of the Black and Orange, this is the essence of why we can turn to millions of fans now and say: have faith.
"If I had not joined Fnatic, I would probably not be here today - for that I will always be grateful. Through multiple iterations in staff and players to get there, we had two incredible years.
I am very confident that I would have loved staying at Fnatic for the rest of my career. But I have made the decision to move because I want to make the very most out of life and, right now, I see myself doing that elsewhere.
Nonetheless, I know Fnatic will perform well in the years to come and I personally hope this could be the beginning of an even better performance from LEC internationally." - Rasmus ‘Caps’ Winther
We must only understand life backwards: that is that, in Black and Orange, Caps broke metagames, won trophies (both for team and individual) and made us constantly laugh & smile.
But we look forward to understand again what it is to be Black and Orange: we still have our name, our family, our faith to create it all for a fourth time in that midlane - and we look to that fourth time soon.
From rookie to a world star, you helped us define the Fnatic way.
Thank you for these two incredible years.
