With LEC Spring Split concluding and Fnatic Rising hitting their final strides in UKLC Spring Split going into EU Masters, we welcome Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé and Ronaldo “Ronaldooo” Betea as our two newest members of our now 12-man League of Legends setup.
The unspoken remit of Fnatic League of Legends has become clear: find, create and/or improve talent when potential is apparent. Targamas proved he was a rising talent at just 17-years old when he played beside former Fnatic ADC, Pierre "Steeelback" Medjaldi at Giants Gaming last year.
“I'm really happy to join such a prestigious organisation. I'll do my best to represent Fnatic well, and this start by qualifying and winning EU Masters with Rising.
I've already been practicing with the team for a few weeks and I’m confident in our ability to achieve great results. It's been a long time since I’ve played competitive, but I could not be more excited to be back, especially with this team.” - Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé
In the midlane, we’ve seen the power of endless raw talent in solo queue with Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek and Felix “MagiFelix” Boström. Ronaldooo becomes the latest in line to prove what being a Fnatic midlaner truly means.
“In joining Fnatic, I’m hoping to finally expose what I’m capable of in the competitive scene.
I feel that I will be ready to face this challenge, to play against the best players in Europe, and I’m so happy that it’s Fnatic that has given me this opportunity.” - Ronaldo “Ronaldooo” Betea
Both Targamas and Ronaldooo will be acting initially as substitutes with the Fnatic Rising squad, who will be aiming for EU Masters qualification in the UKLC playoffs from 10AM GMT this Saturday.
