Our bags are packed and we are on the way to Athens but this is simply just a small pit stop on the road to Worlds. Though we'll happily pick up a small souvenir in the LEC trophy to help us remember the time that we got the best of G2, the supposed best team in Europe.

And we're not looking past Schalke either, we know they'll be fearsome opponents and we aren't planning on making the same mistakes as Spring. We've been here before, Fnatic was created for moments like this. Born for greatness with the blood of champions, this is our moment.

Schalke - Déjà vu

Once again we're going into the final with the mountainous task of two best-of-fives in as many days but we've overcome worse. Schalke have done exceptionally well to fight their way through the Playoffs but they are going to have to keep working when we win and send them into the gauntlet.

Sadly for Schalke, we're knocking them out of the Summer finals for the second year in a row. Elias "Upset" Lipp is an incredibly talented ADC but there's no way he can compete with Martin "Rekkles" Larsson - the German was lucky to come out ahead by one vote in the All-Pro team.

And it's also going to be a fun match-up in the jungle, we have to say Kim "Trick" Gang-yun has been impressive this split - the man has the highest winning percentage in Europe of any LoL player ever. But just a few places behind him is our very own Mads "Broxah" Brock-Pedersen, a quick 3-0 with consecutive games of the Dane's legendary Lee Sin should change those standings.

G2 - One step further

Last week's dress rehearsal was an entertaining one for the fans and we aren't too down about how things finished. Let's face it, we were one baron fight away from winning 3-0 against the MSI champions but fair play to G2, they did well to come back.

When it really matters, there will be no mistakes. We will coldly pick apart G2 like we did in those first two games last week and take our eighth European trophy. Our opponents have spoken a lot about their spicy picks but their creativity clearly didn't have a correct answer to our Garen Yuumi combo and we're sure whatever they have planned for this weekend will blow up in their face too. We certainly won't be banning Luka "Perkz" Perković's Mordekaiser any time soon.

We won't lie, failing to capitalise on our lead last week was heartbreaking but we proved we're still at the top. Now we're only more determined to get our revenge. As Zdravets "Hylissang" Galabov said: "We'll get them next time." See you in Athens.
