Marketing Manager

As a Marketing Manager at Fnatic, you will have a unique opportunity to build one of the biggest brands in esports and gaming, sharing our performance proposition with the world, and shaping our narratives and storytelling. You'll be in a driving position to deliver against our goals, but also provide the foundation to scale rapidly and expand globally. You'll play an important role in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns that bring our brand, partners and products to life; and help solidify Fnatic's market position as the definitive gaming performance brand to help gamers play better. In some ways you’ll play the 'conductor' to our sea of creatives, intuitively knowing how to delight our existing fan and customer base of millions, and attract ever-increasing audiences to engage with our brand and products. You'll have the ability to leverage Fnatic's Creators, Growth, and Content teams. With a great understanding of youth culture, you'll oversee campaigns that can speak authentically to the billions of gamers globally.

Your mission is to:

  • Ideate and plan a variety of goal-led marketing activations, ensuring campaigns deliver our brand promise
  • Work closely with marketing colleagues on campaign execution, storytelling and audience targeting to deliver optimal impact
  • Foster community engagement and reaction, and seek to understand fan sentiment and trends
  • Be data led, understanding the links between marketing inputs and performance outputs,
  • Lead post-analysis, and ensure learnings are reflected in future planning
  • Communicate goals for all campaigns, and ensure those goals align with Fnatic's commercial objectives
  • Help devise and execute CRM/product marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with Growth colleagues on paid social initiatives, briefing in creative requirements
  • Provide clear briefs to Fnatic's Studios function for creation of campaign assets, and supplement their work with external content creators when required
  • Support delivery of activations on Fnatic's social accounts, ensuring a consistent cadence of activity to build audience and maximise campaign engagement
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the broader team for product-related Marketing and PR campaigns
  • Support accurate forecasting of marketing costs, owning campaign ROI reporting and spend management

We're looking for:

  • Track-record of memorable marketing activations for a youth-focused brand (D2C in particular a bonus)
  • Understanding of youth culture and trends in media consumption
  • An innovative and creative mindset, with a healthy respect for data and insights
  • A deliver, with proven ability to take a concept from ideation to completion
  • Comfort in things moving fast, and making things happen
  • Experience in executing marketing activity in multiple international markets
  • Resourceful mindset and ability to do a lot with a little when necessary
  • Knowledge of marketing best-practice and regulations, particularly in relation to influencer marketing and global customer data management legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, other languages desirable
