Marketing Manager (Product)

As Marketing Manager (Product) at Fnatic, you'll play an important role in driving awareness of Fnatic's Apparel and Gear product lines to a global audience, and helping build an association with Fnatic as the definitive gaming performance brand to help gamers play better. You'll have the ability to leverage Fnatic's collective Marketing muscle across our creative studio, Events & Streaming, Growth, Social & Community, and PR & Communications to build award-winning marketing activations, and you'll develop and refine a strong view of customer that enables us to personalise activity and achieve even better results with every campaign. With a great understanding of youth culture, you'll oversee campaigns that can speak authentically to the billions of gamers globally and directly drive sales of thousands of Fnatic products every week.

Your mission is to:

  • Ideate and plan Fnatic Apparel and Gear launch and sale campaigns, ensuring they are authentically Fnatic and their goals are aligned with commercial objectives
  • Work closely with Marketing colleagues on campaign execution, ensuring campaigns consider other Fnatic brand activity and are timed for optimal impact
  • Lead on campaign post-analysis and ensure learnings are reflected in future planning
  • Provide clear briefs to Fnatic's Studio function for creation of social and campaign assets, and supplement their work with external content creators when require
  • Oversee execution of product content on Fnatic's social accounts, ensuring a consistent cadence of activity to build audience and maximise engagement
  • Foster community engagement and reaction, maintaining on-brand responses
  • Work closely with Ecommerce on product landing pages, promotional activity and general shop look and feel
  • Understand the impact of marketing activity on ecommerce performance and provide data to drive insights
  • Create monthly reports by channel, evaluating learnings and establishing areas for improvement
  • Work closely with Growth colleagues on paid social initiatives, briefing in creative requirements
  • Help devise and execute CRM/product marketing initiatives
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the broader team for Marketing and PR campaigns
  • Support accurate forecasting of marketing costs, owning campaign ROI reporting and spend management
  • Gain deep understanding of the Fnatic's product lines, and use insights from development to inform marketing activity
  • Work closely with Customer Support colleagues to understand end-user product experience and consider how this can be utilised in future campaigns
  • Ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Marketing Director

We're looking for:

  • Track-record of memorable marketing activations for a consumer brand
  • Understanding of youth culture and trends in media consumption
  • An innovative mindset but one that is always driven by data and insights
  • Comfort in things moving fast
  • Experience in executing marketing activity in multiple international markets
  • Resourceful mindset and ability to do a lot with a little when necessary
  • Knowledge of marketing best-practice and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, other languages desirable
