Workplace Intern

As Workplace Intern at Fnatic, you’ll be the friendly face to greet visitors to our (new) HQ in East London and a key support across our People & Culture function. Fnatics are a creative, buzzy crew; and we need someone with the same level of energy to make our workplace an even better place for our guests and staff alike. You’ll be an important help on key tasks related to our upcoming office move and establishing our new space in 2023. You’ll contribute to the efficient day-to-day management of the office as well as own important administrative tasks, working closely with People & Culture colleagues to support our goal of making Fnatic a recognised employer of choice in London. You’ll also help share how great our office is with the world, gathering content to paint the picture of life at Fnatic externally. The perfect candidate is someone with incredible attention to detail, from being across all of our supply levels, to noticing browning of office plants and chairs out of place in meeting rooms! We're looking for someone actively looking to develop a career path in office management or people operations. Your mission is to:

  • Manage Fnatic HQ's front of house/reception, creating a memorable first impression for all visitors of Fnatic and our culture
  • Monitor our intercom/entry system, ensuring access is granted appropriately and the office is kept secure
  • Manage mail and other deliveries, as well as collections from the office
  • Monitor office supplies and consumable levels, and execute regular orders
  • Coordinate cleaning, security and other support services, ensuring the office is always presentable and hygienic at all times
  • Facilitate the successful running of internal events/engagement activity
  • Own the booking calendars for meeting rooms, streaming studio and other owned spaces, as well as ensuring they are always functional and ready for use
  • Support internal communication processes such as weekly all-hands, and look for further ways to share updates and celebrate successes
  • Support onboarding processes, looking after provision of IT equipment to employees and maintaining our asset register
  • Help ensure health & safety compliance; and raise awareness where you observe issues
  • Support our HQ office move and other facilities projects as required
  • Manage travel and accommodation bookings for Fnatic staff when required
  • Work closely with the People & Culture Coordinator in Berlin, and designated support staff in other global offices to create alignment between HQ and local processes
  • Conduct research as required for new suppliers, initiatives and events
  • Contribute content to employer brand channels and promote life at Fnatic externally
  • Own ad-hoc Workplace projects as defined by your manager

We're looking for:

  • Previous office based work experience and exposure to administrative tasks
  • Incredible organisation, and ability to handle multiple tasks with ease
  • Tech savviness, with exposure to the Google and Microsoft suites and photo/video editing tools desirable
  • A creative mindset, ready to offer ideas office improvements and initiatives
  • Smarts coupled with a positive mindset
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English (additional languages desirable)
