Membership Manager

At Fnatic, we’re building out our membership programme and we need someone to be its key champion. Someone always thinking about what drives community and fandom, how we can create a sense of belonging for all those that engage with our brand, and how we can overdeliver on expectations of our community. As our first Membership Manager, you’ll work closely with our Community, Marketing and Product teams on many exciting projects designed to open the black and orange world to a whole new audience of fans. You’ll also curate our activity and communication with our crowdfund investors; a group of fans so passionate they’ve put their money where their mouth is, backing our ability to stay at the top as the number 1 performance brand in esports. This is a massive opportunity to build hype and something insanely fresh, and be at the forefront of us achieving our company mission to forge a nation of 1 billion Fnatics.

Your mission is to:

  • Build and own a membership strategy that unifies Fnatic’s community initiatives, that makes being a part of this community second to none
  • Drive adoption of Fnatic ID; the basis of our membership efforts
  • Constantly refine Fnatic’s membership offering and tiers, and seek out ways to deliver value and build hype
  • Own monthly communications to our crowdfund investors and lead on the organisation of annual summits
  • Work closely with Marketing to understand the audience, and utilise insights to feed into the future membership roadmap
  • Regularly take the pulse of members to understand the drivers of engagement and retention
  • Be across key Fnatic initiatives to ensure members have insider access to new products and announcements
  • Work closely with D2C to drive product sales to members in a way that doesn’t detract from our brand
  • Research membership programmes within other youth-focused brands, and ensure Fnatic continues to innovate and be best-in-class

We're looking for:

  • A deep understanding of youth culture and what resonates with that audience
  • Proven ability to drive membership uptake, and curation of successful membership programmes
  • Understanding of digital marketing and product metrics; and the levers that can be pulled to improve them
  • A passion for gaming and knowledge of the ecosystem
  • A team player; comfortable coordinating initiatives that touch multiple areas of the business
  • Comfort in things moving fast; with ability to bring ideas to life quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, other languages useful!
