Partner Development Executive

Fnatic’s Partnerships team has a vision to shape and set the standards for how brands engage in the new world of sports entertainment. As a Partner Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in achieving this vision and connecting new partners to the growing international esports audience. Your creativity and approach will help excite brands about the potential of Fnatic partner marketing campaigns through sponsorship, social activations, events, branded content and more.

Your mission is to:

  • Thoroughly understand the motivations and expectations of brands in partnering with Fnatic, and build the foundations of a long term relationship that has the ability to scale
  • Research brands on hitlist, analyse market trends for new opportunities, and input data to CRM
  • Generate leads through targeted outreach to global tier 1 brands
  • Manage a pipeline of multiple opportunities according to your sales plan, and meet agreed revenue targets
  • Balance achievement of individual and contribution to team KPI’s, monitoring progress via Salesforce
  • Coordinate with departments across Fnatic to ensure best chance of pitch success
  • Understand the Fnatic value proposition and positioning, and act as a brand ambassador at all times
  • Be an internal ambassador for partners within Fnatic
  • Structure your time and prioritise effectively through familiarity and use of project management tools, ensuring all deliverables are executed accordingly
  • Provide weekly reports on key tasks, KPI’s, pipeline, as well as potential obstacles you might be encountering
  • Ideate and construct creative pitches to deliver new partners in a greenfield industry
  • Support across Partnerships team tasks, including but not limited to campaign brainstorming, analysis and negotiation support

We're looking for:

  • Experience in an environment selling branded content campaigns, either direct or agency
  • Degree education, ideally in business/media/marketing/advertising
  • Ability to understand the goals of brands and how they can engage with audiences to achieve them
  • Track record of over-achievement in sales and hunger to exceed targets
  • An engaging personality and natural rapport with people
  • Honesty in evaluating how you can improve constantly
  • A disciplined, methodical approach; understanding the inputs that lead to success
  • Creativity and ability to participate in ideation
  • Someone who thrives with autonomy in a delivery-focused environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, additional languages desirable
