Team Manager (Dota 2)

As Team Manager for Fnatic's Dota 2 team, you'll be a key conduit between our players, external stakeholders and key departments at Fnatic. You’ll keep our team organised, on track and drive high performance and standards, ensuring all involved in the team are great representatives of the Fnatic brand. A great Team Manager is someone who can problem solve and is very organised; makes decisions in the best interest of the team and Fnatic; is competent, resourceful and a good collaborator; and most importantly is willing to learn and grow in an ever-changing landscape.

Your mission is to:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of Fnatic’s Dota 2 performance facility
  • Support organisation of team travel from budgeting, visa applications, and bookings
  • Support day-to-day relationship management with tournament organisers and provide updates to Fnatic players and staff of schedules, policy changes, content obligations etc
  • Organise and effectively communicate the team’s schedule
  • Be the first point of contact for other Fnatic departments, including but not limited to Marketing, Product and Partnerships, assisting to schedule and execute requests involving the team
  • Assist players with obligated social and streaming deliverables
  • Educate players and staff on Fnatic’s policies and requirements in areas such as partnerships, brand representation, integrity and performance standards
  • Continue to build our network of contacts in the game’s community, such as event organisers, game developers, journalists, team managers and players
  • Be on a constant lookout for emerging trends across adjacent titles
  • Provide insight in the growing mobile esports landscape in the region

We're looking for:

  • A passion for esports (strong knowledge of Dota 2 is a bonus!)
  • Background working in talent management/service oriented environment
  • Experience in project or event management
  • Willingness to travel overseas with the team
  • A hard-working nature with a high level of commitment to our team goals
  • Emotional calmness and ability to think on your feet
  • Flexibility and comfort in being on standby
