Partnerships Manager

Fnatic’s Partner Success team has a vision to shape and set the standards for how brands engage in the new world of sports entertainment. As a Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a key role in achieving this vision and connecting our biggest partners to the growing esports audience of Gen Z and Millennials; and also support the development of the function through mentoring junior team members. You'll manage the strategy and delivery of partner activations with a focus on some of the biggest main and global partners of Fnatic, and through best in class partner management create relationships that renew and scale.

Your mission is to:

  • Make delivering success for our partners your prime responsibility through world-class relationship management
  • Thoroughly understand our partner’s brand and commercial goals
  • Be an internal ambassador for the partner, Fnatic’s players and staff alike
  • Manage a variety of content, sponsorship and experiential activations for several partners concurrently
  • Ensure all rights and deliverables within the term of partnerships are executed with rights trackers updated throughout
  • Scale our biggest partners with new ideas and proposals outside of existing contractual rights, maintaining close relationships with the key senior decision makers of partner brands
  • Work cross-functionally across Fnatic teams to ensure client deliverables are met and delivered to exceed partner expectations
  • Regularly communicate progress to the broader Partner Success team and Fnatic management on key tasks, mission critical updates, as well as potential obstacles you might be encountering
  • Provide regular reporting to partners including campaign results, brand uplift studies and quarterly reviews to create ongoing alignment between senior Fnatic and partner brand stakeholders
  • Support the development of Partnerships Executives, setting them meaningful work and clear objectives that enables you to prioritise strategic work while promoting their career growth

We're looking for:

  • First-rate account management ability, ideally from an agency environment
  • A strong track-record (ideally 3+ years) of delivering exceptional client experience
  • Experience as a people manager, and supporting the growth of junior staff
  • Understanding of digital media, marketing, and ideally sponsorship in sport
  • Degree education, ideally in business/media/marketing/advertising
  • Focus on over-achieving your goals
  • Honesty in evaluating how you can improve constantly
  • Strategic thinking on how brands can engage with audiences
  • An engaging personality and natural rapport with people
  • Belief you can deliver success for clients by being process orientated
  • A passion for social media marketing
  • Creativity and ability to participate in ideation
  • Someone who thrives with autonomy in a delivery-focused environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, other languages desirable
