We have agreed the transfer of Robin “flusha” Rönnquist to another CS:GO team.
Robin first joined Fnatic in 2013, winning 3 Major titles in the Black and Orange. After a short hiatus and stint in NA, Flusha’s return to Fnatic CS:GO has been one of success, securing the DreamHack Masters Malmo and ESL Pro League Season 11 titles in the past two years.
Fnatic CS:GO Head Coach Andreas Samuelsson said:
“I want to thank Robin for his amazing journey in the Black and Orange. He joined in a new period in Fnatic where we reached great achievements together, with two tournament victories and a climb to the #1 spot in the world rankings. Robin has certainly helped Fnatic shape its legendary name during the CS:GO era. He is truly one of the smartest and most iconic players in CS:GO history, and I wish him nothing but the best in his future career.”
“Another great stint with Fnatic has come to an end! We achieved some great things during the 15 months we had together, winning a few tournaments and even being the number one ranked team for a while. Now I’m looking forward to starting on the path I had set out on before coming back. I wish nothing but the best to my former teammates and Fnatic.”
Flusha’s incredible 1v3 clutch to secure the ace and the round in the Grand Final of the IEM Katowice 2018 Major will always be one of the great Fnatic moments. He has built a huge amount of love and respect within Fnatic and beyond, and through all the highs and lows he will remain a Fnatic legend.
Patrik “cArn” Sättermon, Fnatic Chief Gaming Officer said:
“Robin will go down as one of the absolute legends of our Counter-Strike franchise, and we have so much to thank him and his teammates for what they have given the brand over all these years.
Despite finding success in the very first Major back in 2013, I'm sure we will still enjoy great CS coming out from Señor VAC in the years to come and it will be a privilege to follow him in his new project.”
Lycka till, Robin. Once Fnatic, #ALWAYSFNATIC
