Will this feature be back on the app?
I can send friend requests to people but can't send them messages privately so I would love to have this feature back ☺️

@owenmelbz• 12/10/2024Loading...Hi, this is something we’ve discussed before, but brings up lots of issues around people’s safety, privacy, spam, security and legal involvement.
So is a large decision to consider, but it’s always been on the radar for consideration. For clarity we’ve not removed the feature - it’s never been a part of this version of the app.

It's understandable that it has more cons than pros rn.
