Partnerships Manager

Fnatic’s Partnerships team has a vision to shape and set the standards for how brands engage in the new world of sports entertainment. Ecommerce Product Manager

A leading global esports brand, Fnatic also has a growing direct to consumer product company for the next generation of sports. As the Product Manager leading Fnatic’s direct-to-consumer offering, you will own our customer experience from landing page through to checkout, and will take the lead on designing, implementing and monitoring our Ecommerce strategy. Group Legal Counsel

As Group Legal Counsel at Fnatic, you’ll spearhead our legal team, developing and managing our legal function to support efforts across our international entities. There will be a large focus on sports and entertainment matters, and you will also work on a wide variety of commercial, risk management and governance matters that will include managing a range of regulatory, intellectual property, litigation, employment matters, domestic and local company administration, fundraising, investor relations and company secretarial and corporate governance duties (with assistance from outside counsel, where necessary).

Based in our HQ in Shoreditch, no two days will be the same, working cross-functionally with members our Pro-Gaming, Partnerships, Marketing, and Product teams in particular. Reporting to the CEO, This role is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to join a rapidly growing organisation in the booming esports industry with a projected value of $1.5bn by 2020, and a global fan base of 113 million and counting.


Your mission is to:

  • Manage all domestic (UK) and international legal and regulatory matters across the Fnatic group companies
  • Identify areas of risk, and take appropriate action to proactively mitigate risks
  • Draft and review legal documentation and contracts in the various areas of our business, such as professional gaming player contracts, employee contracts, sponsorship/partnership contracts, supplier contracts and NDA’s
  • Negotiate and agree contractual terms with other parties and liaise with external lawyers and advisors where appropriate

Requirements

We're looking for:

  • Degree qualification in law, ideally with a specialisation in sports, entertainment, IP, and/or corporate law
  • Extensive PQ experience, gained both in private practice and inhouse
  • Broad commercial and in-depth technical knowledge, with experience drafting wide range of commercial contracts and arrangements.
  • Fundraising experience,with involvement in Series A/B investments, convertible notes/ASA desirable

As PR Manager at Fnatic, you will be a pivotal part of our London team as one of the leaders of our outward voice and amplification of our global mission. You’ll oversee all press related matters, both inbound and outbound to ensure we're maximising exposure which helps accomplish our company goals.


It will be your responsibility to maintain an active outbound press pipeline whether that's for our next generation of products, or to our expanding activities in the rapidly changing world of esports, such as publicising a major championship win or the signing of a new global partner. Management Accountant

Fnatic is on a course of rapid global expansion. Our unique brand and business model has allowed us to venture into a variety of commercial activities. As one of those, we sell esports apparel and equipment to fans across the globe.

To support this growth, we’re in need of a savvy Management Accountant whose day to day will range from the management accounts for our Gear entity, analysing gross margins through to reconciling employee expenses. In addition, you’ll be tasked with developing business insights through data collection, KPI reporting and analysis; leading to suggestions for business efficiency improvement.

Reporting to the Finance Director, there is scope to grow in this role as the needs of the team and business increase.


Your mission is to:

  • Provide general book-keeping and financial analysis
  • Prepare and review forecasts/budgets with management
  • Develop processes and system improvements to continually drive efficiencies
  • Support Finance operations by raising customer invoices, code and enter supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements, deal with queries and raise payments

  • Support risk assessments
  • Support on counterfeit, brand protection and IP/Trademark registration
  • Ad-hoc legal tasks as directed by Group Legal Counsel

Requirements

We’re looking for:

  • Degree qualification in law, ideally with a specialisation in sports, entertainment, IP, and/or corporate law or relevant experience
  • Proven graduate (or equivalent) work experience (ideally 2+ years)
  • Broad commercial knowledge, with experience drafting wide range of commercial contracts and arrangements
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Proactivity and ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to learn fast, able to cope with the requirements of a high-growth business in the 24/7, continuously evolving esports industry
  • Ability to critically review, update and amend policies, procedures and precedents with minimal supervision, consulting with stakeholders where appropriate
  • Flexibility and willingness to get your hands dirty
  • Tact and diplomacy in an organisational setting
  • Fluency in non-English languages, ideally German
