Chief Marketing Officer

As the first CMO at Fnatic, you will have a career defining opportunity to build the biggest brand in the converging world of sports and entertainment, esports. Team Manager (Dota 2)

As Team Manager of our Dota 2 team, you will be a key conduit between our team and the other departments that make up Fnatic. You’ll drive high performance and standards, and ensure all involved in the team are great representatives of the Fnatic brand.


Your mission is to:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of Fnatic’s training facilities and teamhouse, including related security, shipments, invoices, visits, inventory and purchases
  • Organise schedule for player trainings/breaks/activities
  • Take responsibility for player wellbeing, maintaining health and wellness (including gym sessions) and guiding on nutrition and lifestyle habits
  • Provide feedback to senior Pro-Gaming management on the team's condition, mentality and performance
  • Support organisation of team travel from budgeting, visa applications, and support during trips
  • Be the first point of contact for other Fnatic departments, including but not limited to: Gear, Marketing, Content and Partnerships, being readily available on Slack/phone/email during work hours. As Content Manager (Dota 2) at Fnatic, you’ll brainstorm, present ideas, plan and execute content around our Dota team that aligns with Fnatic’s broader mission and narrative. You’ll maintain Fnatic’s content quality standards, and lead on building the future roadmap for Fnatic’s Dota content. Working closely with Marketing, Commercial and Pro-Gaming stakeholders globally, you’ll be juggle a number of moving parts with tight deadlines in what is often a high pressure environment.

As our Dota team is frequently on the road, it’s essential you are comfortable with the travel required by this role throughout the season.

Your mission is to:

  • Own all Dota-specific content and Fnatic Dota social channels and their respective success
  • Liaise with our HQ social team on best social media practices and distribution on main channels as required
  • Report on Dota content performance metrics and consider audience feedback to drive continual improvement
  • Own the Fnatic Dota content calendar, working closely with team management for player access and content planning

As Financial Controller at Fnatic, you’ll work closely with the CFO to ensure efficient, insightful and compliant management of all our financial endeavours. You’ll own our financial reporting and advise on how we best manage the group effectively and profitably in line with the long term vision for the business, and partner business units to drive best-practice around budget setting and management. You’ll have a passion for our business and be commercially savvy, knowing where to delve for necessary information and analysis to monitor Fnatic’s growth trajectory and maximise returns.

Your mission is to:

  • Prepare, manage and update the quarterly and yearly budgets and P&L in co-operation with the relevant unit heads and senior management
  • Provide weekly updates and monthly financial reports, outlining the company’s financial performance against targets and maintaining an accurate balance and cash flow
  • Be the sole liaison with Fnatic’s accountant ensuring accurate bookkeeping
  • Manage all Fnatic subsidiary accounts on a daily basis, reconciling incomings and outgoings into the finance files
  • Manage (and execute where needed) day-to-day accounting activities such as creating invoices, receiving payments, sending payment reminders, paying bills, etc
  • Educate the business in relation to cost-efficiency and revenue improvement strategy
