Fnatic veteran Fabian ‘Febiven’ Diepstraten has announced his retirement from professional play.

Widely regarded as one of the top mid-laners, Febiven joined Fnatic in 2015, helping to lead the team to the Spring Split title. In Summer 2015, he played an important role in Fnatic’s record-breaking undefeated 18-0 regular season run. During his stint with Fnatic he’s taken home 2 EU LCS Championships as well as shown huge performances at MSI and Worlds, solo killing the regarded best player of all time Faker several times. Following a move to H2k-Gaming in 2017, Febiven joined both Clutch Gaming (2018) and Misfits Gaming (2019) before returning to the Black and Orange, joining the academy side with Fnatic Rising in 2020.

After seven years of professional play, representing four organisations; the 24 yr old Dutch player is retiring from competitive play. Febiven has been an important part of our LoL journey and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.
