Fnatic Enters Tekken

The exciting news keeps on coming, as today we’re thrilled to announce a new reinforcement in the Fnatic fighting game roster as we officially enter Tekken 8. Here at Fnatic, we’ve been huge fans of the title and its passionate and engaged community for years, and we’re excited to finally take our first step into the game and bring the Black and Orange energy to another new fanbase.

Hailing from South Korea, we’ll be entering Tekken alongside Gunho ‘Mangja’ Park (also known as Malgu), who will be representing the Black and Orange at the very highest level of the titles’ pro scene. Mangja is an extremely accomplished player who we’ve had eyes on for a while - watching as he impressed not just us but the entire world, with a strong performance and 4th place finish at EVO Japan in April. A player who has made an unforgettable name for himself in the last few years across multiple iterations of Tekken, and a player perfectly suited for Fnatic.

We recently had the privilege to meet Mangja in his home country of South Korea, where we knew we had found the perfect player to join the Black and Orange. This collaboration allows us to support his journey forward as a professional and gives us a great opportunity to contribute to the Tekken scene and community, taking new steps towards fostering our fanbase in South Korea. We’re fired up to get to work alongside him, and even more fired up to see him in action.

Mangja will represent Fnatic across this season’s Tekken World Tour cycle, with multiple international events on the agenda, including this summer's Esports World Cup.
