Dota: Raven rejoins as our new carry, 23savage departs
Fnatic welcomes Marc "Raven" Fausto to its Dota 2 roster. The 21-year old carry joins us from GeekFam, most notably seeing himself surpass Fnatic as champion in the latest two tournaments.
Those who have followed our journey in Southeast Asia since it began will remember that Raven first joined Fnatic as a teenager hot off of TI6 in a two-month stint back in 2016. Although the operation started afresh, Raven went on to become one of the most prominent players in SEA in his time since then.
What he managed to achieve at TNC till his latest team GeekFam has always guaranteed a headache for us at Fnatic whenever facing him, so much so that he took our team off of our perch during BTS Pro Series 2 and Oneesports SEA Dota League.
Dota 2 team manager Eric "Reinnnn" Khor said:
In our pursuit to build a Southeast Asian super team and continue dominating the region, I welcome for the second time, SEA's most promising carry into our roster. He will bring a new dimension to the team and add some firepower to our already stacked roster.
With Raven returning to Fnatic, we also say farewell to Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, who will be released from the roster. We'd like to thank 23savage for his contribution to the Black and Orange, and you know we'll always remember that smile and especially holding that red duck at The Summit 12. We look forward to seeing 23savage on the server soon. Once Fnatic, #AlwaysFnatic.
Achievement in Fnatic: The Summit 12 Champion (our first LAN event win ever), champion ESL One LA Online, BTS Pro Series 1, Huya Esports World Legendary League, ESL One Birmingham OnlineFun facts: 23savage turned 18 during his stint with us. He is also the second guy in the world who hit 11k MMR.
Reinnnn spoke on 23savage:
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank 23savage for all his effort and contribution for us the past year. I am very happy to celebrate you reaching 11k MMR during your stint with us. I wish you the best of luck and I am sure we will meet each other in many LANs in the future.
