Loading...Learning Japanese so I can speak to my wife's family more easily over in Japan, without relying on Google Translate (which is pretty impressive for real-time audio translation regardless). Also learning at the same level with my daughter so we can help each other. It's a pretty tough language to learn via this app only and with only knowing English. Definitely helps to actually speak to friends and family who are fluent and watching Films/TV shows/Anime/YouTubers/News to supplement learning alternative words and connecting words in a sentence. Helps with sentence order and building vocab. The trickiest part is reading/writing since there are 3 alphabets which are sometimes used interchangeably. Any other advice for learning would be appreciated. Thanks!

Its good that if you can speak the language a bit, you can select in Duolingo that and they prove your skills and they rank you. I skipped so many lections by that 😂☺️
