Event Terms and Conditions:

Introduction

  • Fnatic will be hosting an 'EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish' event at Fnatic HQ (the Event) on 14 August 2026 and 15 August 2026 (the Event Date)
  • These T&Cs set out how you can register to attend the Event.
  • By registering for the Event, you agree to these terms, the Social and Community Policy and our Privacy Policy.

General Terms

  • Registration for the Event opens at 13:00 BST on 11 August 2026 (Open Date) and closes at 17:59 BST on 14 August 2026 (Close Date).
  • You can register your interest through the Fnatic App.
  • You must register your interest in attending the Event by the Close Date.
  • You may only register once per event; multiple registrations will be disregarded.
  • In order to register your attendance at the Event in accordance with the above terms, you must be aged 16 years or over on the Event Date.
  • Fnatic reserves the right to limit the number of attendees at the Event based on capacity restriction and to bring forward the Close Date in the event of the Event’s maximum capacity (“Capacity”) being reached (in advance of the original Close Date).
  • If the Event reaches Capacity you may, at Fnatic’s sole discretion, be placed onto a waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If you cannot attend the event, please update your RSVP status directly on the Fnatic App. Under the QR code, you can press 'Update RSVP' and withdraw your RSVP. This ensures your spot can be re-allocated to anyone on the waiting list!

Membership Terms

  • Attendees who are Fnatic Pioneer, Core or Plus membership holders will receive guaranteed entry to the Event until the event reaches capacity.
  • If you have successfully registered your attendance to the Event through the Fnatic App you will receive a QR ticket via the Fnatic App before the Event starts. Please make sure you have notifications enabled.

Important Notice to Attendees

Photos and video footage are being captured during this Event and may be live-streamed online and/or used for other promotional purposes by Fnatic Ltd or EWC. Fnatic's Privacy Policy is available online at fnatic.com/policies/privacy-policy

Tournament Rules:

Overview

  • The Fnatic EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish tournament, is an open tournament (the “Tournament”).
  • The tournament will be played with 1 bracket.
  • There will be up to 4 teams in the bracket within the Tournament. Teams will consist of two players (individually a “Participant” and together a “Team”).
  • The Tournament is a one (1) day, offline Valorant Tournament. The tournament will consist of 4 teams and will be played on PC.
  • The Tournament prizes are as follows:
    • 1st place, each participant will receive:
      • 1x Fnatic 2026 Champs Jersey*
      • 1x Fnatic Goodie Bag (consisting of a Fnatic Tote Bag, Fnatic LED Light Stick 2.0, Fnatic Flag)
    • 2nd place, each participant will receive:
      • 1x Fnatic Goodie Bag (consisting of a Fnatic Tote Bag, Fnatic LED Light Stick 2.0, Fnatic Flag)
  • Please note: the prizes are as stated only, Fnatic will not pay out the cash value of the prizes as an alternative.
  • *Fnatic will ship the Fnatic 2026 Champs Jerseys to the winners with the first wave of when the Jersey is released. In the case there is no Fnatic 2026 Champs Jersey this year, a PK26 jersey will be provided instead.
  • To qualify for the Tournament, Participants must;
    • have a valid main Riot Account;
    • play on their main Riot account;
    • be at least 16 years old as of 14 August 2026;
    • attend the EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish on 14th August at Fnatic HQ, 1 Kingsland Passage E8 2BB;
    • not be a pro player participating in a VCT team;
    • play only with one player who can be either Diamond or above on their main Riot account as of 14 August 2026. If the account is unranked as of 14 August 2026, the last recorded Act rank [i.e. from when the account last received a rank] will be taken as the account's "current" rank, this will be confirmed by Tournament Admins live on site through Riot Mobile Login verification.
  • Employees of EWC, Fnatic, Riot, and all associated companies are not allowed to participate in this Tournament.
  • EWC are the sole sponsor of the Fnatic EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish tournament. Participants agree that their inclusion in the Tournament is as an individual and must not reference, tag, or promote 3rd party sponsors in social media posts or other forums, either directly or indirectly.

Rules

1. General Rules

1.1. Tournament

The Fnatic EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish tournament is an open Tournament for Valorant, hosted by Fnatic and played on PC. The Tournament is limited to players who are present during the event and can play the offline Semifinals and Grand Finals on 14 August 2026.

1.2. Administration

Everybody who is authorised by Fnatic to administer the Fnatic EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish tournament based on its rules and regulations will be called an "Admin". In the following, the collection of all Admins will be called the "Administration".

1.3. Participants and Commitment

1.3.1. Every Participant must:

  • have a valid main Riot Account;
  • play on their main Riot account;
  • be at least 16 years old as of 14 August 2026;
  • attend the EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish on 14th August at Fnatic HQ, 1 Kingsland Passage E8 2BB;
  • not be a pro player participating in a VCT team;
  • play only with one player who can be either Diamond or above on their main Riot account as of 14 August 2026. If the account is unranked as of 14 August 2026, the last recorded Act rank [i.e. from when the account last received a rank] will be taken as the account's "current" rank, this will be confirmed by Tournament Admins live on site through Riot Mobile Login verification.

1.3.2. By participating in the Fnatic EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish, Participants acknowledge they will, without limitation, comply with the Tournament Rules and with the statements and decisions made by the Administration.

1.3.3. Every Participant acknowledges the right for the Administration to modify the rules and regulations for adjustments at any time without notice and if necessary overrule those to ensure fair play and integrity throughout the Tournament.

1.3.4. Every Participant must be respectful towards Admins and other Participants. Insults and unfair or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and will be punished in accordance with these rules.

1.3.5. Every Participant has to try to win every round of the Tournament. Purposefully losing for any reason is strictly forbidden.

1.3.6. Vulgar, racist, sexist or otherwise offensive player names are forbidden. This will be at the sole discretion of the Tournament Admins.

1.3.7. Every Participant acknowledges the right for the Administration to edit players’ names if names are deemed unfit for display.

1.3.8. Every Participant in the Fnatic EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish consents to the collection of footage, photo and audio material displaying or voicing them during the Tournament to be stored and used for announcements, website content and other publications by Fnatic and EWC, unrestricted and unlimited in terms of time and place.

1.4. Communication

1.4.1. All communication between Participants and the Administration has to be held in English at any time and at any stage of the Tournament.

1.4.2. The Administration can be contacted on the day during the event or via the following e-mail address: community@fnatic.com ahead of the event date.

2. Format & Schedule

2.1. Tournament Format

The Tournament is a one (1) day Valorant tournament. The tournament will consist of one (1) 4-team, direct elimination bracket and will be played on PC (the “Tournament”).

2.2. Score metrics

The Semifinals and Grand Final will be played as a Best-of-Three.

All 2v2 Skirmish matches will follow the regular Riot Gameplay rules for 2v2 Skirmishes. First to 10 rounds wins (best of 19), using elimination rules.

Weapons will be limited to certain rounds as follows:

  • Rounds 1-4: Bandit, Sheriff
  • Rounds 5-8: Guardian, Bulldog
  • Rounds 9-19: Vandal, Phantom

2.3. Registration

All Participants have to be present and sign up their team via the shared Typeform before the event starts on 14 August 2026. At 18:20 BST, we will raffle out the final 4 teams, who will get the chance to join and play the tournament. There is no entry fee.

2.4. Seeding

The seeding will be done live during the raffle.

2.5. Schedule

The Fnatic EWC 2v2 Community Skirmish will start on 14 August 2026 at 18:00 BST and finish on the same day (the “Tournament Window”).

2.5.1. The matches will be played in the following order:

  • Semifinal 1
  • Semifinal 2
  • Grand Final

2.6. Tournament Restrictions

Participants must commit to playing the entire Tournament. Team Participants must remain the same for the entirety of the Tournament to ensure a level playing field. If Participants can no longer participate once the Tournament has started, the Administration will suggest the next steps and the Participant may risk forfeiting their whole Team. This is at the Administration’s sole discretion.

3. Match Times

3.1. Match Times

Each game will be played at a time within the Tournament Window to be determined by the Administration at their sole discretion. All matches will be played on 14 August 2026 starting at 18:20 BST and will be live-casted.

3.2. Rescheduling / Postponing

Matches cannot be postponed or rescheduled to another date or time.

3.3. Punctuality

All team members have to arrive at 18:00 BST for the tournament.

4. Before the match

4.1. Check-In

All Participants must be present at 18:00 BST at the event and at 18:20 BST for the team raffle.

4.2. Map Selection

4.2.1. Map Pool:

The map pool consists of Skirmish A, Skirmish B and Skirmish C.

4.2.2. Map Selection Process for Best-of-Three Matches:

This process will take place live ahead of the matches taking place. The first raffled team will be Team A. Team A starts the process, and the map for the Matches will be selected according to the following procedure:

  • Team A picks 1 Skirmish Map
  • Team B picks 1 Skirmish Map
  • The remaining Skirmish Map will be played as the last Map if needed

5. During the match

5.1. Match Start & Restarts

5.1.1. From the time a match begins, Participants are prohibited from intentionally disconnecting from the game. If a Participant or Team disconnects intentionally after the game has started, the game will continue with the remaining players and will not be restarted.

5.1.2. A Team may request a match restart if the fairness of the game is seriously compromised by an issue outside of the players control. Matters that may lead to the match being restarted include but are not limited to:

  • enemy players using 3rd party tools or software in breach of Riot's Terms of Service; or
  • if the game crashes for all players.

5.1.3. All restart requests need to be flagged to the Admin team before a restart can be actioned. Evidence to support the request must be shared and the decision on the restart will be at the sole discretion of the Admin.

5.3. Breach of Terms of Use

If Participants are found guilty of Bug Abuse or in breach of Riot's Terms of Service, they may face consequences including automatic disqualification. All punishment will be at the sole discretion of the Administration.

6. After the match

6.1. Protests

Protest against any other sort of rule violation by another player can only be reported during the match or within 5 minutes after the match has taken place. The protest must include a specific proof and needs to be communicated to the Administration immediately in person.

7. Rule Violation and Punishment

7.1. Possible Punishments

The punishments for any rule violations include but are not limited to:

  • Loss of one match
  • Disqualification from the Tournament
  • Disqualification from future tournaments

Punishments shall be at the Administration’s sole discretion.

8. Prize

8.1. Prize

In the Tournament:

  • The Tournament prizes are as follows:
    • 1st place, each participant will receive:
      • 1x Fnatic 2026 Champs Jersey
      • 1x Fnatic Goodie Bag (consisting of a Fnatic Tote Bag, Fnatic LED Light Stick 2.0, Fnatic Flag)
    • 2nd place, each participant will receive:
      • 1x Fnatic Goodie Bag (consisting of a Fnatic Tote Bag, Fnatic LED Light Stick 2.0, Fnatic Flag)
  • Please note: the prizes are as stated only, Fnatic will not pay out the cash value of the prizes as an alternative.
  • *Fnatic will ship the Fnatic 2026 Champs Jerseys to the winners with the first wave of when the Jersey is released. In the case there is no Fnatic 2026 Champs Jersey this year, a PK26 jersey will be provided instead.

8.2.

The prizes are as stated only, Fnatic will not pay out the cash value of the prizes as an alternative.

8.3.

Fnatic’s standard shipping policies and restrictions apply to the shipping of Prizes. It is the sole responsibility of the Participants to check Fnatic is able to ship prizes to their location before entering the Tournament.

8.4.

Winners located in countries Fnatic is not able to ship to should reach out to the Community Team to try and work out an alternative. Fnatic isn’t liable to you for the prize if an alternative shipping arrangement can’t be identified.
