My father is playing this every week since so many years, and he lost so much money 🫣
Of course, sometimes he go something back, but it always feels like, you pay 100€ and then you get just 50€ back 🙃 And in the end, he has the hope the get the jackpot of many thousand euro 😂

Loading...Well it depends, at the end of the day, betting has been going on for a very very long time. Although I don’t condone it nor do I actively participate in it, I understand why people do it. As with many things in life betting can cause serious addiction and lead to behavioral problems (which is no secret)… there’s also an aspect of corruption within the betting industry, I’d say you have to be careful with what sport you bet in but anyways, that’s just my take on it :)

@Ibby• 28/05/2023Loading...I feel like if you were to bet on a match and watch it, youd end up being more invested into the bet rather than the match and gameplay itself. I dont think anyone bets to lose their stakes, so rather than watching with 'intergrity' (idk if thats the right word to use), youre just watching to make sure you win the bet. Thats how I feel about it. But I could be totally wrong as im not really into betting, and someone who does bet might say that they very much enjoy it and that it makes it more fun.

First, betting on your team jinxes it.
Second, if your team loses, it leads to double frustration. As a result, you often see people getting even more upset with the team.

@Franky• 28/05/2023Loading...I'm not a fan because while I'm not against betting in general, I find that gambling advertisements are unhealthy as they exploit people's vulnerability. Additionally, when you bet on a match, you become less interested in the sport itself and more focused on the desired outcome to win your bet.

Loading...@Franky True! I remember one time I did, I got so anxious that my team would lose that I didn't even watch the match. I'd just do check-ins every 15 minutes to see the score line.

Loading...it kinda makes people aggressive...? I'm not sure of what word to use but whenever I think of people who bet I'm remember Secret Invy's tweet after the TS vs ZETA series. There's people who legitimately get angry at players after they lose series
