Future plans for badges?

While a fun little addition to profiles to begin with and I do still quite enjoy them, however, they're really starting to pile up on peoples profiles. Just wondering if there's any future plans with these (Perhaps the abiltity to showcase our favorite badges?) or if we're going to be infinitely stacking them up for the rest of time? 😅
