A fantastic week for Fnatic fans

Just as last week was rather dark, this one is clearly positive, 9 victories out of 11 matches.

CS: This week, 2 wins and 1 loss. What we can see is that the team is still a bit shaky, but that's normal, it's still a new team. From time to time, we can see the potential this team could have. The two new players, Fear and Burmylov, have really shown a very good level of play, and personally, I was a bit disappointed with the veteran Krimz. But we'll see in a few months to start forming a more definitive opinion.

Valo: A super close BO against NaVi that was really decided by a thread, which we eventually won. Kaajak was impressive throughout the entire game and carried us. The others were a bit disappointing, but in some games, they were helping Kaajak carrying.

In one game, it was Chronicle who was on fire alongside Kaajak, and in the last game, when we were on defense, Alfa woke up and managed to push us into OT and secure the victory.

Overall, for neutral viewers, it must have been an amazing match. For me, it was incredibly stressful. We almost threw it, which doesn't completely reassure me, but at the same time, it gives me hope because Kaajak was just too strong. I believe we can clean up our plays and come back even stronger.

R6: 4 wins out of 5 matches. The only loss was in a BO1, whereas the rest of the tournament was in BO3, which makes no sense. But after the loss, we made a comeback through the lower bracket, chaining 2-0 wins to secure qualification. We're at least in the top 4, and we finally beat our demons by defeating ITB and ex-ITB, teams we had never won against before. So it's very positive. Even our loss was super close. This new roster gives hope for reaching the highest level next season.

LoL: A good 2-0 week, we won El Clásico, very happy despite a slightly shaky game against Rogue but a stomp against G2. However, these are BO1s, so let's not get carried away, we've been here before.

Oscar was magnificent on his Ambessa yesterday, and even though he got camped today, he came back in the end and did his job. Razork, nothing to say, he's the best. Mikyx, I love what you're doing, the engages, the decision-making. Sometimes it'll fail and lead to deaths, but I’ll take that minor inconvenience for everything he brings. The carries are doing their job, I'm very happy with Upset and Huma performances. I was very critical of Huma after last year, but now he's really stepping up.

We're almost guaranteed a playoff spot. We'll see how things go with fearless drafts, but we've already shown a fairly deep champion pool in all roles, so I trust the process until proven otherwise.

Next week: The ALGS Championship starts, it's in Japan, the schedule is going to be tough. Still, we believe them they will bring home a trophy, YukaF and the squad deserve it for everything they've done.

There will also be more R6, LoL, Valo, and CS, so we're in for a treat. Hopefully, it'll be just as good as this week, if not better.

Woah there! You need to be logged in to reply to this discussion.
