I think he was a great player and helped us to reach the major kicking him right after the qualification is pretty disappointing…

1. We have very important tournaments right now which will massively impact our VRS ranking and which tournaments we get invited to in 2026. The way the system works now there's no RMR, means there's little downtime between events to keep ranking and grow it.
2. The team is trialing this change, and there is a world that we bring Cypher back if it doesn't work.
3. Jackasmo is someone we've been looking at for a long while, we see great potential with him.
4. We will always do whatever we can to make the roster as performant as possible. Sometimes these difficult decisions are whats needed.
Cai has done an amazing job, and this is by no means and easy decision from the CS management, but it's one they discussed at length with the coaches and captain and decided to enact. He will continue to get the digital / sticker share, regardless if he doesnt end up playing, for all the hard work he's put in to get us this far.

Loading...@sam Thank you for the answer but, I think there are multiple problems:
- rolewise it makes little sense to kick the entry frager for Jackasmo
- The way it has been handled seems at best catastrophic
-even if he comes back the trust between him and his teammate/coach/management is dead
- A true competitor like him would rather play the major (as he deserved) than get pay

Loading...To be honest its ridiculous. You have played like dogshit for years. You getting it back together for 1 month and you are making this kind of horribly timed decisions. Let the guy play what he deserves with hard work. Lets be honest we are not getting far anyway with or without cypher
