Now it's likely that our fifth will be Veqaj. How do you guys feel about him ? Anyone seen him play ? Observed hi mechanically or making memorable plays etc ? Or in general just how is he ?

Loading...What I have gathered, he seems to be a really chill as I've watched him stream for a few hours. (Hopefully someone who accepts Boaster's dancing!) He's been playing a lot of Viper from what I heard so that would make me think he's going to adapt to Chron's roles etc. We can't use VLR stats nor his ranked games to really make judgement so having an open mind will help. I suppose watching him play on M8 might give you a rough idea but other than that, we'd need to see what he's like with FNATIC. He'll be learning the ins and outs of his new team.
In general, M8 fans are super happy for him to join FNATIC as he was apparently really good on the team at the time. That being said, I'm more intrigued about how he fits well with the boys throughout the year when it's officially announced.
I hope anyone who reads this tries to welcome Veqaj as much as possible, he's obviously got massive shoes to fill and I know some people (not just FNC fans) will compare him to Chron under the sun if not, for the rest of his career. If he has bad days, I trust the FNC community to come together and give him the support he needs. He'll probably need a little time adjusting and that's okay, it's not easy. Just remember to stay positive and spread the love, guys! I'm looking forward to 2026 ♥️

Personally, I think I have watched a few clips and highlights of him playing on M8 against Heretics. As someone who has a keen eye for Mechanics and Decision making or Play making in Valorant, I think his Aim is smooth. His Aim transfer is smooth and he likes to take his time and keeps calm in his Aim. That's one Positive. Secondly, His utility usage on Recon agents was good. He also Top Fragged against Heretics in first two maps although M8 lost the series 2-1. He fell off the last Map on Ascent which is okay imo. He overall was the MVP of the series for me up until last Map when Woot woke up. M8 would have won the series 2-0 and it would have been first series loss in Group Stages for Heretics but they choked despite having insane leads at half time in first two maps. They just choked their Post plants either side of the Map and few amateur mistakes like not swinging together or just bad positioning. Well, FNC is Very Good in late rounds and closing out Maps and Series ( Fingers Crossed ). So that series loss was just M8 overall being Amateur but Veqaj still had the best stats of that series. So that's another positive cz imo, Such performance against a team like Heretics is very good. Now, Talking amount Veqaj's Negatives, I think his Aim has that Calmness and Composure. But overall, he lacks Calmness or Awareness during Clutch moments. He just moves weird and does some Amateur mistakes like starts running giving foots to find the third person who plays time even when there is enough time. It felt like he lacks that Forsaken/Chronicle Genius or Movements in clutch situations. That Play making or belief and Composure. But I think him feeling the pressure this early in the offseason itself off filling the shoes of someone like Chron will make him good. Also FNC and Boaster will take the best out of him .

Loading...@alisooni What he needs to improve on is taking his time during Clutch or closing out rounds even when there is 1 alive. Although he takes his time while using his Gun.

Loading...i did researched a little on his baground, looks like played well when he was still at stage 2 playing flex mainly flash initiators and sometimes scans. Then he changed to playing duelist out of necessity if i remembered correctly, his kd was good with most of the times having a positive Kd such as +23 +18 kind of thing. Then he got recruited by M8 which he play the role of scan initiators, his times there was nothing phenomenal with him retaining a relatively good Kd, just not something that yells im a star player kind of thing, tho people has been saying that the system of M8 was flawed and there were internal problems, which is why they choked most of the time when they played so i woulnt blame him for not performing greatly there. He does have people rooting for him from various bagrounds such as french watchers, tier 2 watchers, those kind of things. some may say that Fnatic is doomed and hes not like kaajak who was a superstar even when he was still at apeks. Yeah its not that easy to get much information on him, even on youtube theres not really that much videos that clips his high plays and stuff. So we just have to trust cojo and milan on this one, he might be giving something new on the table.
