Question of the day

Since our league boys went from 0-4 to qualifying for groups, I wanna know your favorite Fnatic comeback story. Can be a game or tournament, any Esport.

Personally our worlds run being 0-4 in 2017. Getting out of that group was so insane I almost screamed out loud during a lecture in the auditorium.

Loading...Beyond the 2017 one, I think the recent reverse sweep against XL in Summer playoffs was insane. We looked absolutely out of the game, XL and Patrik in particular just rolling over us. Third and potential final game, Wunder hits the cask of all casks to bring us back into the game and we somehow manage to win it all 3 games. And that was w/o banning Yuumi most of the games, draft was driving everyone crazy.

Loading...@Madscot It was a great run up until game 2 vs Rogue. But yeah, thinking that would never have happened if we just rolled over 3-0 vs Excel.

Loading...I agree with the 0-4 comeback in 2017. It will always have a place in my heart. I remember being home alone and watching the games all day. After the longzhu game I was assuming it was impossible to get out but hopeful we could maybe get at least 1 win. By the end, I was going absolutely mental (thankfully I was alone haha) and almost cried when they won the last game to get out.

Loading...@Tsuki I also just remembered 2019 worlds being a bit insane. It didn't end great with suning obviously, but beating T1 and RNG was crazy. I remember hyli and rekkles were absolutely smurfing in the bot lane and getting so hyped up as the games went on. It's a pity it ended in the reverse sweep but it was such an accomplishment still for that team to get through and knock out RNG.

Loading...League of Legends Summer Playoffs 2021. It was the time when I started watching lol e-sport and became a true fnatic fan. Seeing fnatic kicking G2 from their worlds spot was pure art. Sadly we lost the finals (and to make it worse, the game was on my birthday lmao), but I still felt proud we made it so far
