It's hot, there are problems everywhere because of it, like water shortages and forest fires, etc. Moreover, cooling consumes a lot of energy here, and for those who can afford it, people suffer due to the unbearable heat, making it impossible to sleep. You can undress to try to alleviate the discomfort, but when you're naked, well, you're stuck, and you can't go any further to cool down.. Whereas in winter, it's cold, so you put on one, two, or three sweaters, and voila, you're good. There's snow, and that's beautiful. Well, okay, if it's a harsh Russian winter, it's a mess, but where I'm from, it's chill.
