How have all of you got to know Fnatic?

Today i feel proud to say i’ve been a Fnatic fan for more than 6 years and i always find interesting to get to know each other of us story on how we got to knew Fnatic, and how did we fell in love with this amazing Team.

Long story short, i was a Pow3r fan till one day in 2018 following the Fortnite wave he announced he joined an European team: Fnatic. Since then i fell in love with the community, with the Team and his vision of competitive. Always Fnatic!

And you guys, how did u all get to know Fnatic? Was through a pro-player/content-creator?

Loading...For me it was because of Rekkles. Became a fan of him through watching worlds and then found out about LEC and became a FNC fan :fncflag:

Loading...@EpicDoggo Man Rekkles is so iconic, i feel so sad that he didn’t get those playoffs with the T1 :fncfeelsbad: I like to see that we are a pretty mixed up community, fan from LOL, VALORANT and CS mainly, but there’s also our slice of R6 fans and other games, sorry if i left some out :fnchands:

Loading...@Jamakasi ahahahahah well… that’s also another way, i just find really interesting to hear a bit of backstory from everybody, there are fans that walk their path with Fnatic since 2013 like you, players that came lately thanks to Valorant, player that got to know them thanks to their favourite streamer and fans who just fell in love watching them on the stage. All of those stories are so nice to hear imo. 🖤🧡

Loading...I started getting into competitive eSports around 2018 when Worlds were still ongoing but since I didn't play the game myself I didn't think much of it. The player that I liked to watch was Hylissang due to how exciting and more fun his gameplay looked. In 2019 I myself started playing the game and surprisingly even though I liked Hylissang I became a jungle main and would look at how the best EU junglers at the time played which were Broxah and Jankos and I really liked Broxah so when I started watching LEC and eSports seriously it was a no beainer that I would follow FNC. I quickly came to love the Rekkles/Hylissang botlane and later transitioned to an ADC because I wanted to one day get the chance to play with Hylissang in soloq (I didn't know EUNE and EUW are different 😞) but never got the chance to because I didn't even have a good pc and playing ranked became very frustrating so to this day I never went over Diamond 3.

Loading...@Orfeas Damn, this really is our storyline… i hear from so many player that they got to a point where the game was so frustrating and the hardware could manage it anymore to the top and let us down like that. I hear you Brother, u aint alone 🫡🧡🖤 P.S. I feel jealous that u could enjoy that Rekkles/Hylissang era with Fnatic

Loading...I would say since Season 3 of the EU LCS, I started following them because a friend got me into LoL and introduced me to esports. So, I had to pick a team to follow, and since I knew them from CS, I watched their games. I realized I was hooked after the OMG vs Fnatic match, where we left the nexus one auto away from Yellow and got eliminated 😭

Loading...@Franky I think Rekkles was the only one i knew at the time, even if i never acknowledged that he was part of Fnatic. I tried but never succeed to get into LOL, it’s just not my game but i gotta admit that the lol competitive scene is very interesting.

Loading...In 2015/16 I used to watch ESL csgo match replays, and each game I’d pick one of the teams to support. I found I kept picking fnatic more than any other, I was really drawn to them. Then the first ever esports event I watched live was ESL Expo Barcelona, which Fnatic ended up winning! I followed the CS roster for a while, then got into Val and had to support the team I love there too :) that’s what got me even more hooked

Loading...@maj3stic Wow, almost 10 years man! I can’t ever have enough of Fnatic. I also had a bit of interest into cs:go and his competitive scene, but after 3 months i started to play at it valorant came out. Also Fnatic Valorant team came a bit later then others but i can still remember the excitement when they announced it!
